With over 20 years commanding passenger and freight RoRo vessels, and the past four years dedicated to maritime training standards, I have seen firsthand the pivotal role that leadership and management training plays in our industry's future.

Future leaders and their teams can regularly engage in simulated complex scenarios and practice and improve their leadership and teamwork skills without the inherent risks of real life training. This innovative approach enhances learning, preparing individuals for the complexities of leading and working with diverse teams aboard their vessel be it a cruise ship, a tanker, a container vessel, a superyacht or a ferry.
